| Budget Performance Brake System for the Alfa Transaxle

Description: Until now, aftermarket brake systems all had one thing in common.
They were expensive!!
In a racing Alfa 75TS, you can have decent brakes by only changing the brake pads, brake fluid and brake lines. In other words, the other components are not bad at all, especially the calipers.
In fact, the caliper is very special since it is made from a lightweight alloy. (Porsche used the same calliper but …… the heavy steel version instead!)
During the winter we tested with the setup of a bigger disk (305mm diameter and 28mm thick) together with the original calliper. The results were amazing in relation to the money spent. The car has the feel of a robust modern sports car. The brakes feel ‘stronger’ and you have more brake performance and sustain.
Lighter transaxles (75TS, Giulietta) only would benefit in heavy racing on short tracks where there’s a lot of hard braking.
On the other hand, on all V6 transaxles (especially the 75 America/Milano, GTV6 and the SZ/RZ) this set really is a huge step forward regardless if used on road or track.
The set is marketed as ‘for racing purpose only’. It will fit all 5 bolt patern Alfa transaxles. The rim size is 16" minimum. (Some 16” rims need a 5 mm spacer to clear the caliper)
The set includes the brake disks and all necessary hardware to install them on your Alfa transaxle while retaining your original calipers. Brake pads (Pagid) are sold separately, see see the 'Options' box below.
ATTENTION! To install the set, your brake calipers have to be disassembled and subsequently reassembled! We recommend that only certified technicians perform this operation!
